SPUC exists to transform culture so that abortion is not only abolished but becomes unthinkable. The Society is actively leading the fight in courts, classrooms, and culture to achieve this mission. Through these efforts, it aims to restore a respect for the sanctity of all human life, from the very moment of conception until natural death. They will be welcomed into the Cathedral at 6.00pm on Monday, and will thereafter be available for adoration.<\/p>\n<p>This Tuesday, 16 September \u2013 Feast of Saint Ninian: to mark the Feast of this Scottish saint, there will be a talk on the life and legacy of Saint Ninian, and his connection to Nairn. The talk, which begins at 7.00pm, will be given by Eric Hanna. who writes and publishes on Scotland&#8217;s Saints in the magazine \u2018St Moluag\u2019s Coracle\u2019. The half-hour talk in the hall will be followed by the litany of Saint Ninian, in the church, and will end with Vespers by 8.45pm. We have 20 incardinated priests (those who are ordained for this diocese), who \u2013 together with 10 overseas colleagues \u2013 who have to minister in a geographical area that is approximately the same size as Belgium. Our second collection is to support those who require medical attention and treatment, and to assist our aged priests who are now retired. Can you help them? Thank you for your support.<\/p>\n<p>MEETING TODAY \u2013 Sacrament of Confirmation 2026: A meeting will be held for parents and children regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation in April 2026. This is open to candidates of S1 and up. Some parents may feel their P7 children may also be ready to receive the Sacrament, and are also invited to attend the meeting, which will take place after the 11.30 am Mass on Sunday 7 September in the upstairs hall.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 13 September, at 12 noon: Highland Deanery Pilgrimage \u2013 our venue for this year\u2019s Deanery Pilgrimage, is St. Mary\u2019s Beauly, one of the officially designated pilgrimage sites during this Jubilee Year of Hope. The Mass begins at 12 noon, and the Principal Celebrant is Bishop Hugh Gilbert OSB. The talk, which begins at 7.00pm, will be given by Eric Hanna. who writes and publishes on Scotland&#8217;s Saints in the magazine \u2018St Moluag\u2019s Coracle\u2019. The half-hour talk in the hall will be followed by the litany of Saint Ninian, in the church, and will end with Vespers by 8.45pm.
