Last year, the Highland Deanery Station Mass programme was curtailed part way through due to Covid restrictions. Once again, we are unable to meet together publicly for these masses, however the Aberdeen Diocese have arranged to live-stream Station Masses from across the Diocese.
Each Friday during Lent, a parish from a different Deanery will take its turn to celebrate the Stations of the Cross at 18:30, followed by Mass at 19:00.
The programme for the Station Masses is as follows:
- 19 February – St Mary’s Deanery (Aberdeen) – St Mary’s Cathedral
- 26 February – St Columba’s Deanery – Our Lady & St. John the Baptist, Ellon
- 05 March – St John Ogilvie Deanery – St Margaret’s Huntly
- 12 March – St Joseph’s (Highland) Deanery – St Mary’s Beauly
- 19 March – St Mary’s Deanery (Aberdeen) – St Joseph’s, Aberdeen
- 26 March – St Mary’s Deanery (Aberdeen) – St. Peter’s, Aberdeen
