On Good Friday 25th March, St. Mary’s Nairn will be open between 7.00pm and 9.00pm for a time of quiet contemplation and prayer. Lit exclusively by candles, the Church will provide a peaceful atmosphere for meditation and reflection.
We invite everyone, not just our congregation, but passers-by, all denominations or none, young and old to come into the church and light a candle as a symbol of their prayers, thoughts and concerns.
A time of silence particularly in our hectic lives helps still and restore a clear and peaceful mind again.
You may stay in the presence of the Lord as long as you wish – a few minutes, half an hour, or the full two hours. We hope you are able to join us and experience the beauty of God’s love.
