Welcome to our visitors! Next to the church is our hall (entrance at the back of the building). There is a toilet available, and we also have live transmission of Mass, via our TV screen. After the Sunday and Weekday Masses, we gather in the hall for FREE tea/coffee and cakes/biscuits. Everyone welcome!

Bulletin 15th February 2026 (PDF)

Ash Wednesday: Our Masses for the start of Lent are at the following times: 10.00am (St. Mary’s): 7.30pm (St. Columba’s). Ashes will be distributed at both Masses. This is a day of fasting (from one main meal) and abstinence from meat.

‘Walk With Me’: Reflections for Lent – this is an ideal resource for this forthcoming penitential season. Price only £1.50 each.

Stations of the Cross: we will pray the Stations of the Cross each Friday morning in Lent, from 9.30am.

St. Mary’s Station Mass, 27 February – thank you to all those who have generously volunteered their time and talents to assist with the Station Mass. The signup sheets at the back of the church and in the hall; please feel free to add your name to it if you can help!

Last Year’s Palm Crosses – if you have any palm crosses from last year, please feel free to hand them in to the Sacristy. We will prepare for Ash Wednesday, which occurs in less than two weeks!

Marion Hamilton RIP: Marion will be received into St. Columba’s RC Church in Culloden on Monday 2 February at 4.00pm. Her Funeral Mass will take place the next day, on Tuesday 3 February at 10.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Maureen McKenzie RIP: Maureen, who often attended here, passed away on 29 December. Her Funeral Mass will take place at St. Margaret’s RC Church in Forres, on Tuesday 27 January at 11.00am. Everyone is welcome to attend.

What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith: the course continues next month! The final four sessions, entitled Our Catholic Life, focus on the Sacraments and on the three practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. As such, they are appropriate for the coming season of Lent. The first meeting of 2026 is on Wednesday 11 March, at 7.00pm, in the Parish Hall. Subsequent meetings will take place on 18 March, 25 March, and 1 April. All welcome!
