Second Collection Today for SPUC White Flower Appeal – this year’s appeal, organised by the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, calls for the UK Government to end its pills-by-post DIY abortion policy. As well as ending the lives of precious babies, this policy lacks safeguards against illegal late-term abortions, and puts mothers at physical and psychological risk. 86% of GPs are concerned about coercive abortion taking place via telemedicine and pills by post. The policy is impossible to regulate, and has proved
open to abuse. Please support today’s second collection for the work of SPUC, and fill in one of the cards on the table.

Health and Safety Rep: can you help?! – The parish is in great need of a Health and Safety rep. Duties include regular inspections of fire extinguishers and electrical appliances, and first aid kits. Full training will be given. If you can help, please speak to Fr. Domenico.

Second Collection Today for Mary’s Meals: ‘Double the Love’ Appeal – from now until 22 January, any donations made to Mary’s Meals will be doubled by a group of generous donors, up to £1 million. A donation of just £19.15 can feed a child every day for an entire school year. Because your gift will be matched by our benefactors, the same donation will feed a second child, too! Please note that there will be a Second Collection this weekend (13/14 January) for Mary’s Meals.

St. Mary’s 90 Club – Our opening Draw of 2024 takes place on Sunday 28 January; good luck to those of you who have a ticket! Would you like to join in, too? Please speak to Elaine De Ste. Croix, for further details.

This is part of a wider programme, starting in January 2024 that will see us bring more of the St Paul Center archive of material, which they kindly have given us to use for free, to our Diocese. We have sessions starting on Monday 15 January (Evening or Afternoon) and Tuesday 16 January (Evening only). Go to the Ogilvie Centre website (https://rcda.scot/ogilvie) for more details and to sign up.
